Description
Wang Qiang created "BARRIER" in 1995 at Mt. Jade Emperor, Hangzhou. According to the artist, "there is a ring road leading up to the top of Mt. Jade Emperor. There is another path also going up to the top. Each cross section of the path with the road is blocked with a piece of transparent celluloid with same width to create a barricade".
