Description
In this "photo-installation" (photograph + action art), the artist set himself in a classroom, with podium before him and blackboard behind. In his hand, he also held a book, as if referencing materials to lecture. However, in the entire "class", Wang has said nothing vocally; but only to write eight words of Chinese on the board (also in English): 既成事实，不容争辩 (Since fact is fact, there is no dispute). This silent class seems to have taught one of Wang's key ideas about history -- the respect and acceptance to what has happened.
