Description
"Dancing Spirit" is a marble sculpture created by Wu Shao-Xiang in 1990, during the period when he emigrated to Austria. The sculpture takes the form of a kettle-shaped fountain, with splashes of water that make it resemble a harp. Water became a thematic subject for Wu during this time. As he noted in his book Wu SHAOXIANG—In Europe, “Water was intended for man as his most beautiful, purest providing element. It gives us life and teaches us each and every feeling.
