Description
In the private apartment which the artist SHI lived in 1995, he installed numerous speakers that amplify any input sounds from environ. The speakers were fixated upon plastic films which enabled them to scatter around the artist's place -- all encompassingly -- from living room to bedroom, and even to bathroom. The installation is an overt defiance to SHI's privacy, which thus lies the work's big idea: how exposures of privacy could yield anxiety and fear.
