Information Provided by Michael D. Bulmash: Typed censored postcard, German language, sent from Julius Janovitz of Zvolen, Slovakia to Fridrich Kohn in Italian concentration camp Ferramonti di Tarsia, Italy's largest concentration camp. It held close to 4000 Jewish prisoners, most of whom were refugees from Germany. Unlike concentration camps in Germany or Poland, inmates were well treated, and even had a synagogue with a rabbi officiating. Julius Janovitz perished during the Holocaust.
