Abstract
The ambulatory surrounding the central structure behind the pronaos in the Temple of Horus. The walls of this area are filled with inscriptions and relief drawings. "The Building Texts inscribed on the outer girdle-walls provide details of its construction, and also preserve information about the mythical interpretation of this and all other temples as the Island of Creation. There are also important scenes and inscriptions of the Sacred Drama which related the age-old conflict between Horus and Seth" (David, 99). (Source: David, Rosalie. Discovering Ancient Egypt.
