Peace of Amiens Coin (Reverse)

Description

Peace of Amiens coin with the a bust of Marquis Cornwallis on obverse and the statement "MARQUIS CORNWALLIS BRITISH PLENIPOTENTIARY AT AMIENS". The reverse features Britannia seated next to a cherub and holding a tablet. A medallion of George III is in her lap. "POST NUBILA PHOEBUS" is written around the scene. And the exergue of the coin states "DEFINITIVE TREATY CONCLUDED 1802".
