Bequest of David P. Harris ('46), 2020
The cross, with slightly flared arms, displays a figure orans, the bent arms occupying the horizontal memebrs of the cross. The saint (Mother of God?) wears an ankle-length garment, the feet being turned sideways. There is a suspension ring at the top. Said to have come from Bulgaria.
Purchased from Tetragon, London, in 1992.
