Reims Cathedral, jamb figures of the Presentation in the Temple by the Joseph Master, 13th century, High Gothic sculpture, France. Joseph, Mary, the priest Simon, and the prophetess Hannah. Done in the ""Elegant Style"" with an exaggerated sway and heavy drapery. This style is associated with the reign of Louis IX. Reims was the coronation church of the French monarchy.
