Description

Ely Cathedral, infirmary exterior. Originally with a long hall with side aisles. The roof was lost and the interior of the building turned into Firmary Lane. Here are blocked arches which led from the central hall into the side aisles. At the east end of the lane there is a stone wall with a 12th century door through which lay the infirmary chapel, also missing its roof.
