Mt. Vernon--Mrs. Rebecca Curry Johnson, 83, died at her home, 817 W. Gambier, st. last Sunday following a lengthy illness. She is survived by a sister Mrs. Agnes Harris, brother, William H. Turner. Funeral services were held Wednesday with the Rev. E.W. Jackson officiating. Interment was held in Mt. View cemetary. Miss Mary Margaret Goings, student in college of music at Ohio State university appeared recently in recital at Mt. Vernon Alumni auditorium. She was sponsored by the 20th century club. Miss Goings is the niece of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hill, Sychar rd. Miss Ann Rouse and Wayne Rouse spent the weekend in Columbus recently. Mrs. Bessie Allen and daughter Betty Jane were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Rouse. Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Foust and Mrs. Elizabeth Tyler of Columbus were recent visitors in Mt. Vernon
