The Inability of the Jews on the Transatlantic Liner St. Louis to Disembark in Havana, the United States, or any of the Chosen destinations was a great propoganda victory for the Nazis. On the 1939 voyage were 938 passengers, almost all Jews fleeing Nazi Germany. Menu from the St. Louis in 1935 displaying the Nazi Swastika.
