Description

"One side of this very small glass weight shows, in relief, a nimbed bust with a cross on either side and a Greek monogram below. This side of the weight has a highly raised rim. The back is smooth. The piece, which is believed to come from Syria, is now completely opaque, showing considerable incrustation and, on the decorated side, blue iridescent weathering." Description by David P. Harris.
